6. Martial Arts Participation & Assumption of Risk
Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu and other martial arts activities involve physical contact, strenuous exercise, and inherent risks of injury.
Participation in classes, open mats, competitions, seminars, demonstrations, or other academy activities may require completion of a separate liability waiver, assumption-of-risk agreement, and/or membership agreement.
These website Terms are not a substitute for a participation waiver or membership agreement.
Individuals should participate only within their physical abilities and should consult an appropriate healthcare professional before beginning a new physical activity program when appropriate.
7. Minors
Parents or legal guardians must complete any required enrollment documents, membership agreements, waivers, or other authorizations for students under the age of 18.
Parents and guardians are responsible for providing accurate information when submitting inquiries or enrollment information concerning a minor.
