Our Instructors
Professor Danilo Freitas
Originally from Mogi Guaçu, in the interior of São Paulo, Brazil. Danilo was born on September 23, 1988, and built his path in the same city where he grew up. What began as curiosity sparked by Gracie family videos on the internet evolved into a career fully dedicated to teaching and shaping lives.
Throughout the years, he has specialized in teaching children — helping shy kids develop confidence, self-esteem, and the courage to face challenges, while guiding more energetic children toward discipline, respect, and self-control through the principles of the gentle art.
With adults, he has created a welcoming environment focused on personal growth, where training becomes a powerful tool for reducing stress, strengthening physical and mental health, and building positive relationships.
In Valparaiso, USA, we will win titles, build a lasting legacy, and strengthen the community.
True success is not found only in medals or belt promotions. It lies in the difference we make in people’s lives — and that is exactly what we are going to do!
Juliana Freitas
My name is Juliana Freitas, and I am the wife of Danilo Freitas. Over the years, I have closely followed his love and dedication to jiu-jitsu — a passion that has positively impacted the lives of many people.
Jiu-jitsu is an integral part of our family and embodies important values such as discipline, respect, and perseverance. I am incredibly proud of the journey Danilo has built through the sport and the example he sets for his students.
I am excited to be part of this new chapter by his side, embracing a new culture, and building new friendships within the community that will welcome us.
